Iced Coffee and Oil Painting

This morning, after the girls left for work, I took some quiet time for me. With the windows all open I could here the birds singing so sweetly...I mean what could be better?! Iced coffee, almost as good as Starbucks, and no one, but me and my thoughts, the whole day ahead of me. I'm starting my second painting in my India series today, I think I'll call it Crouching Tiger. Last week I did Elephants in the Water.  Proceeds from these paintings are going to Home of Hope Orphanage in India. My son will be going there this fall. God has called him to the mission field in India.  I had always thought I would never leave the states, but who knows, maybe a trip to India is in my future!
