During these long, cold days of winter, I find myself often dreaming of warmer days that I can do some work on my 1959 Mid-Jet trailer, that needs lots of TLC!  Since I can't get out to work on it I'm doing what I can, looking at other enthusiast's finished projects on the internet. It really can be a motivator, to see their before and afters, and know that you can do the same!  I enjoy all the great pictures on www.pinterest.com, just search for vintage trailers and you will find oodles of pics which will help spark decorating ideas for your rig.
Tin Can Tourists www.tincantourists.com has a lot of great pictures, as well as, information on rallys that you can attend. I haven't been to one yet, but I'm looking forward to the day when I can take my trailer out on its maiden voyage. One I'm particularly interested in is, The West Texas Round-Up being held in Santo, TX at the Coffee Creek RV Resort they are going to be having a meet and greet, open house, pot luck dinner, great texas bbq, Trailer trash gift swap, and much more. This time of year is a great time to gather parts and accessories for your trailer. I'm waiting for my hubby to help me put in the new glass we got for my trailers windows...hint....hint...I hope he reads this! Vintage Trailer Supply is a good place to buy parts and accessories, I'm wanting to get an awning from them in the future.
